- The student will be able to identify sources of fresh water and explain the process of water collection. They will be able to list methods for storing raw water and protecting water quality.
- The student will learn the principles of safety, health, and environment as an individual and as a team member within a water treatment facility. They will be able to explain water treatment plant safety and health rules and procedures.
- The student will gain knowledge required to safely operate water treatment plant equipment. These skills will also directly translate into work practices that are environmentally sound.
