Konnor is a 19-year-old business major who works alongside the intuitive I.T. and business professors on SBC's advisory board. He is also a member of SBC's knowledge bowl team for the AIHEC conference, representing himself and the college. Konnor Starr states that he is attending college because his main goal is to open a multitude of businesses within Long Soldier district to improve the quality of life of the people. An example is matching the price of his businesses to Bismarck's businesses or starting a non-profit, self-sustaining "food supply".

His ambition to help his community stems from his mother, Holly Bailey, and his grandparents, Henry and Jeannette Bailey, and Joanne Hogan Luta and Marvin Starr
