Practical Nursing Major Will Now Offer Hybrid Courses
Posted: Thursday, 20 April 2023
Sitting Bull College is excited to announce that the Practical Nursing Major will now offer a hybrid option in addition to the face-to-face courses offered at the Fort Yates campus.
Students can enroll and complete select general course requirements, and nursing theory courses online. Nursing Lab and Clinical courses are completed face to face, and travel is required and is at the expense of the student. Lab sites are at Fort Yates, ND, and Mobridge, SD. Clinical sites include Mandan, Bismarck, Fort Yates & surrounding areas, Mobridge, Selby, Timber Lake and McLaughlin.
Students will need to submit ACT or complete accuplacer testing for select general courses. If remedial courses are required, those courses will need to be completed at one of our sites before enrolling in the online courses of composition and algebra.
Email Dr. Lindsey Helm for more information at

.
The cohort is restricted to 10 students
; additional requirements and application into the nursing program is required, see
Sitting Bull College Bulletin
for progression requirements.
